Sharecare Awards are Open for Entries, Enter Now

The Sharecare Awards, now in its fourth year, extends its submissions until May 13, 2022. The Sharecare Awards are in association with The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, New York Chapter. Sharecare Inc., the digital health company, founded by Jeff Arnold (founder of WebMD) helps people manage all their health in one place, and recently announced the 2022 call-for-entries for the Sharecare Awards.

What are the Sharecare Awards?

The Sharecare Awards is a world-wide competition, which aims to inspire and honor creators. It promotes and rewards excellence for the best health and wellness related programming across broadcast and digital media, including campaigns, documentaries, mobile apps, original reporting, podcasts, series and shorts. Additionally, it embodies “sharing care.”

Entries are open through May 13, 2022

Entries for the 2022 competition are open through May 13, 2022, across 15 categories.

Sharecare Awards —  National Advisory Board

The National Advisory Board comprises an elite group of diverse, multidisciplinary health media, industry, and professional leaders and experts. This team informs and advises the competition’s leadership team.

Sharecare Awards — Academy of Judges

The Academy of Judges carefully reviews each entry. The Academy of Judges are diligent professionals in the health care and media industry.

Additionally, the academy of judges are responsible for convening and managing juries of experts to review all entries in a specific category to determine the top finalists in each category.

Additionally, after a vigorous judging process, there’s a second round of judging for each category. The Academy Deans and a committee of additional experts judge round two.

No Entry Fee

For the first time ever, there will be no entry fees . This is due to the generosity of the program sponsors.

Sharecare’s Chief Nursing Officer &  Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, Donna Hill Howes, RN, MSN, has been instrumental in creating and developing the Sharecare Awards. A true leader and visionary, Donna Hill Howes, RN, MS states in a press release, “We are confident that this year’s entries will be the best yet, and we’re delighted to extend an equal opportunity for anyone to participate in this incredible program that celebrates the meaningful impact that content creators and storytellers can make in a person’s well-being journey.”

Furthermore, she states, “We are proud to have recognized such a diverse set of individuals, businesses, and organizations for their incredible contributions to health and well-being through the Sharecare Awards over the years.”

Sharing Care Award | Individual Impact | Community Well-Being

This summer, Sharecare will announce category finalists, each of whom will be eligible for the Sharing Care Award, a special award bestowed to the finalist that receives the most votes from the general public. Additionally, there will be special awards for individual impact and community well-being improvement. 

Virtual Celebration

For the 2022 Sharecare Awards, a virtual celebration held throughout October across social media platforms — shines the light on all the winners.
