Sudeb Dalai, MD, PhD

Dr. Sudeb Dalai, MD PhD, is a Stanford and MIT-trained Infectious Disease Physician, Virologist, and Epidemiologist at Stanford University School of Medicine and Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford, he has trained physicians/students, instructed courses, and conducted virology research in the Division of Infectious Diseases for over 17 years.

At the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Dalai is a treating physician, public health advocate, and advisor. He has counseled regional health departments, pharmaceutical companies, and the diagnostics industry regarding the clinical features and management of COVID-19, epidemiology and projections, social/economic impacts, product development, and risk mitigation strategies. He has been featured in multiple major news outlets including NBC, ABC, US News & World Report, Huffington Post, and BuzzFeed.

Dr. Dalai is also Medical Director at Karius, a Silicon Valley startup company developing groundbreaking non-invasive genomic tests to diagnose challenging and emerging infectious diseases.

He completed Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Dalai holds degrees from Stanford, MIT, and UC Berkeley School of Public Health. He has received numerous teaching and leadership awards and research grants and has co-authored multiple publications. His work has been supported by the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the Paul and Daisy Soros Foundation, and the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Dalai was elected to the MIT Board of Trustees and is an internationally-invited speaker with guest lectures across the US/North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Sue Varma, MD, P.C., DFAPA

Dr. Sue Varma is a board certified psychiatrist in private practice in Manhattan. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at New York University (NYU) Langone Health and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA).

She received the inaugural Sharecare Emmy Award in behavioral health, in conjunction with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for her six-episode depression series with Medcircle. She is nominated once again for her work with CTM on a month long national “Stop the Stigma” campaign on mental health. Considered the “Go-to doc” for mental health, Dr. Varma has been a regular media contributor to all the major networks for the past thirteen years, has published articles on mental health, and a keynote speaker to medical and general audiences on mental health and wellness. A highly respected physician in her field, she is the recipient of numerous medical awards as well.

In her practice, Dr. Varma specializes in the consultation and treatment of depression and anxiety disorders including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), couples issues, workplace stress, women’s mental health, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, suicidality, and substance issues. She was awarded by the Manhattan Award Program “Best in Practice for 2018” in the category of psychiatry. Dr. Varma has been teaching medical students and residents over the last 15 years, has written chapters in psychiatric books, published in peer-review journals, as well as written articles for general audiences. 

Dr. Varma is a highly sought after medical expert, and has been interviewed in over a thousand media interviews over the last thirteen years- television, print, and radio. The demands have been only exponential in our current coronavirus pandemic. She appears regularly on the Today Show, Dr. Oz show (a regular guest since 2009), NBC News, NBC Nightly News, MSNBC, CNN, CBS news and CTM, ABC News and GMA, and Condé Nast.

Patricia Geraghty, MSN, FNP-BC, WHNP

Patricia Geraghty MSN, FNP-BC, WHNP is a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience specializing in women’s health.  Patricia attended the University of California, Davis for undergraduate studies and started her career as part of a neuropsychology research team at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland.

Ms. Geraghty then did graduate study in Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner followed by a post-masters Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of California, San Francisco. 

Ms. Geraghty was the founding coordinator of the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Holy Names University in Oakland, California, where she continues as clinical faculty. She is currently Director of Women’s Health and Coordinator of the multi-disciplinary Pelvic Pain Program at Comprehensive Wellness, in Walnut Creek, CA. She represents Nurse Practitioners and Women’s Health on the Sharecare Medical Advisory Board. She speaks and publishes nationally on topics pertinent to women’s health across the lifespan.
