The home of Health in 30® radio, and more
While our look has changed, some things about the site remain the same: It’s still the home of the Health in 30® radio show on WRCR radio, which airs live on Thursdays at 5:30 to 6:00 EDT. It also streams live on the web, and after broadcast the shows will appear here, available to be listened to any time. [Note: The program used to air Fridays at the same time.]
I’m a practicing nurse and an experienced health and medical journalists. In my programs, I interview leading experts in medicine, diseases, public health and health care. The conversations are not theoretical. They are down-to-earth discussions with top authorities that provide practical advice.
The radio shows are also downloadable as podcasts. To see our archive of past programs, click here.

Prevention and Education
Health in 30 radio and Healthin30.com always emphasize prevention and education. We’re dedicated to helping you make more informed choices about you and your family’s healthcare.
This blog will feature entries by me, a variety of guest bloggers, and news and information about health and medicine. As a practicing nurse, I can provide insights from the daily front lines of medical care. So can all or our experts.
Sorting through the good, the bad and the useless
As a health journalist, I am flooded with e-mails, press releases, articles, literature and product samples from sources claiming the latest “cure” or “miracle.” Some are nothing but hype and don’t even get a full glance.
With the vast array of health information surfacing on the web, in print and on-air, we help you sort out the good, the bad, and the useless. We’ll highlight what’s relevant and what you need to know.
We encourage you to be proactive and take charge of your health.
Let’s start the conversation!
